I loved the location! Right by the harbour with stunning views, it was a perfect base for exploring. The staff were super friendly and made us feel right at home. Oh, and breakfast was a real treat-one of the best Full English meals I've ever had, freshly cooked and great quality!
There were some letdowns. The family room was up steep stairs, definitely not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. Plus, the TV didn’t work and we had no key for the door, which was a bit concerning. it was a mixed bag!

Awesome place with free wi-fi, a cozy bar/lounge, and a lovely restaurant. I remember my first stay, where the staff helped me with late check-out. I'm definitely coming back for Christmas!

We enjoyed spending 2 nights here. Every detail was nice: staff and food. The location of the hotel was marvellous - just a pleasant stroll away from Whitby Abbey. The workers were attentive, setting is in 5 minutes' walk to the heart of the city.

Brilliant hotel, it has great restaurant and brilliant location enough to see the sights. The venue offers impressive and quiet rooms with great towels and tea kettle, as example, I am very pleased about that. I really enjoyed lovely personnel that ensures guests have a fantastic stay. We recently stayed at the Pier and appreciated its central location, making it easy to explore various restaurants and shops. The breakfast was a highlight, especially the kippers, which came with fresh fruit and flakes. Our attic room was comfortable, though it lacked some modern amenities. The staff were helpful, and we enjoyed the experience of dining in the bar on a lovely day. we liked the cozy atmosphere and convenience of the area.

I loved my stay here. The sea view from my room was fine, and I appreciated the easy access to the code for the back door, which made getting to my room with heavy luggage a breeze. I also enjoyed relaxing in the cozy lounge area and the lovely outdoor seating. The only hiccup was not being informed about a resident discount at the bar until it was too late, so keep that in mind when you visit! 😊

The view from our room was breathtaking, overlooking the harbour. The breakfast was top-notch, especially the scrambled eggs! Just a bit disappointed with the cleanliness in some areas. 🥴

The Pier's breakfast is a real treat, with local favorites like superb scrambled eggs. The location is spot-on, just a hop to places like Harry's Lounge and Quayside for a cheeky pint!
Had a bit of a pickle with the poached eggs-under-cooked on both mornings! Plus, the bustling balcony meant some serious curtain-drawing during the day.

Charming, Charming, Charming
I was greeted by the sweetest staff who took my bags to my room! Having a double room with a sea view. Plus, the breakfast spread-especially those perfectly cooked eggs benedict-was a delicious highlight of my stay!

Convenient Stay with an Ocean View
We enjoyed two nights in a Double Room with Sea View, waking up to the soothing sounds of the waves. The staff were cute, and the fresh breakfast made to order was a good start to our mornings. Make sure to explore the nearby harbour restaurants!
